If your shared printer is prompting a 0a error ?

Follow these steps to troubleshoot:

Ensure that the new hardware is securely inserted and install the latest driver. Check the Microsoft website’s hardware compatibility category to confirm if the hardware is compatible with your operating system. If not listed, visit the hardware manufacturer’s website for further information.

After installing new hardware drivers or software, such as antivirus software, check if they have added corresponding items in the system services. If a blue screen failure occurs after installation, uninstall or disable them in Safe Mode.

Check the BIOS and hardware compatibility, especially if you’re experiencing frequent blue screen issues on a newly installed computer. Upgrade the BIOS to the latest version and disable memory-related items like cache and mapping. Ensure compatibility with Microsoft’s hardware compatibility list.

Use the “Last Correct Configuration” option provided by Windows 2K/XP if the blue screen occurs after updating hardware drivers or adding new hardware. Reboot the system, press F8 when the boot menu appears, and select “Last Correct Configuration”.

Install the latest system patches and Service Packs to address blue screen errors caused by Windows defects.

If the blue screen persists, attempt to reinstall the system using a USB flash drive while booting into safe mode.

These steps should help resolve the 0a error prompt on your shared printer.
